UTAC Special Vehicles Visit New Production Facility

Tyneside Safety Glass had the pleasure of welcoming Kirsty Andrew the Vice President of UTAC UK and Richard Hudson the General Manager of UTAC Special Vehicles in February.

UTAC Special Vehicles have been a valued client to Tyneside Safety Glass for many years and our companies have worked together very successfully on several large projects.

We were thrilled that they were the first official customers to visit and view our new 50,000 sq ft manufacturing facility which we opened in late 2024.

The facility is solely dedicated to the manufacture of bullet resistant / transparent armour and specialist glass composite products which are used in various military, armoured civilian and emergency service vehicles, along with complex windshields for use in rail applications.

We look forward to continue building our relationship with UTAC Special vehicles in the future.
